EcoCents
I was ready to spread my wings and use my passion for technology to contribute to a “techpreneurship” project. And so, “Ecocents” was born; a community-focused recycling venture that aimed at incentivizing plastic recycling by allowing the user to earn store discounts. As the Chief Technology Officer of my team at Westlake High School, I spearheaded the development of a user-friendly app that functioned like a “reverse vending machine” awarding “points” that individuals can redeem for exciting rewards. My team and I dealt tenaciously with the challenges of creating an intuitive user interface and ensuring that the app worked seamlessly. Presented EcoCents at the ‘High School Ideas Challenge’ at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University, won the ‘Honorable Mention Award for Innovation’.
THE FUTURE
Looking into the future, I envision myself at the forefront of modern technological advancements, particularly in the field of electric vehicles. My interest in robotics seamlessly extends to the innovative world of sustainable transportation, where I aspire to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electric vehicle technology. My forward-thinking mindset and dedication to environmental sustainability drive my ambition to not only excel academically but also to make a tangible impact on the future of green technology.
